In the article “Living Donor Renal Transplantation: Guideline with updated evidence” (doi: 10.1016/j.nefro.2022.01.007), the following paragraph is replaced: It is recommended to clamp the donors's artery, for greater safety; the use of double Hem-o-loks is recommended, applied with a separation of 2 mm and at the same distance from the section border17.

In the clipping of the donor renal artery, the use of hem-o-lok system is not recommended due to the death of a donor in an exceptional way, due to hemorrhage17.
